Together, Andromedik and Arcando, alongside Raphaella, represent a new, forward-thinking generation of artists redefining the sound of drum and bass. With “Hold Me In Heaven”, they translate that shared vision into a genre-blending record that fuses emotion, energy and melodic appeal, built to resonate on global stages.
At 27, Andromedik has become one of the most exciting names in the genre, known for his festival ready sound and high energy performances that captivate audiences worldwide. In October 2025, he released his second album “Ascension”, a two year project showcasing his artistic evolution and featuring collaborations with Netsky, Kanine, Basstripper and A Little Sound. The day after its release, he hosted his biggest show to date at Antwerp Expo, where 4,500 fans attended the sold out “Andromedik Invites”.
Looking ahead, Andromedik has a tour across Australia scheduled for June, further strengthening his global reach. He has also recently been announced for Pukkelpop and will perform at Lowlands on the same day, in addition to appearing at both weekends of Tomorrowland.
Arcando is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting crossover artists within the new wave of drum and bass, blending the melodic scale of dance music with the raw energy of drum and bass into a distinctive signature sound that cuts across genres and resonates with a global audience. His rise accelerated after the viral success of his remix of “Jungle” by Alok and The Chainsmokers in 2024, which ignited international attention and quickly led to a series of high impact releases. That momentum culminated in 2025 with “Set Me Free”, his collaboration with Martin Garrix and Bonn, following major live premieres at Ultra Miami and EDC Las Vegas, with the record surpassing 2.5 million streams within its first ten days and marking a defining moment in his breakthrough year. 2026 started off strong with an official remix for John Newman’s massive hit “Love Me Again”, and now continues with “Hold Me In Heaven” alongside Andromedik and Raphaella. Reflecting on the collaboration, Arcando says:
“Axel and I had been building a creative connection for a while, not just through music but also through that shared experience of coming up in the scene at the same time, him in Belgium and me in the Netherlands. As two young drum and bass artists finding our own sound, there was a natural kind of bonding there, even when we were still searching for the right track to fully click. That moment came when Raphaella sent over this incredible topline. I started shaping the break and build, and it immediately felt like something that really aligned with Axel’s sound as well. When I sent it to him, he instantly knew ‘Hold Me In Heaven’ was the one, and from there he took it to the next level with the drop and final production, where everything just fell into place.” – Arcando
“I think that shared journey really played a big role in how naturally everything came together. When we reconnected around the ‘Andromedik Invites’ show at Antwerp Expo, there was an instant creative spark that quickly evolved into us spending a lot of time in the studio shaping ideas. We focused on translating that emotional, melodic sound often associated with Martin Garrix into a drum and bass context, which felt very natural given Arcando’s background and connection to that world. Once everything started to click, it felt like the track almost wrote itself.” – Andromedik
The result of this collaboration is a powerful fusion of soaring melodies, cinematic builds and driving rhythms, with Raphaella adding an emotional edge that elevates the track into a festival ready anthem.
“I wrote ‘Hold me in heaven’ back in 2024 in a session with Sam Berson and Lawrie Martin. I remember it being a really hot day & I came in tearful and worried about my mum who was in hospital at the time (she is well thank God) but at the time I was worried and had just been unwell myself so being spiritual I was feeling connected to the divine & needed to write and sing something that soared high and expelled all of that energy. That all culminated in ‘Hold me in heaven’ & we knew we had something special. When Arcando & Axel worked on it and I heard what they’d done for the first time I had goosebumps and I knew it was the perfect collaboration.” – Raphaella
A true versatile artist, Raphaella has been shaping the sound of modern dance music for over a decade as a writer, producer and vocal producer, amassing over 100 million streams and earning consistent support across major UK platforms including BBC Radio 1, Capital and Kiss.
