ANiML releases a new remix EP ‘Star Walk The Remixes’ via StrataSonic.Following the release of his debut mini-album, ‘Star Walk’, in March, the anonymous producer enlists an all-star cast to reimagine its cuts in their distinct style. Landing 6th June on independent LA label, StrataSonic, the project features reworks from Michigan multihyphenate Seth Troxler, Canadian live act Mathew Jonson and Brooklyn-based producer Galcher Lustwerk, who flips ‘Bruv’ into a subdued after-hours heater, with ocean-deep grooves, swinging basslines, and his signature skeletal drum work.
It marks the artist’s first release since his latest album, ‘LUSTWERK III’, released last year, and following on from ‘LUSTWERK II’ and the soundtrack album, ‘Adaptation’, both released in 2023. The previous year, the artist’s breakout ‘100% Galcher’ mix – which comprised 15 tracks of deep, luxurious house with hip-house touches – got its long-awaited vinyl release.
