Drawing inspiration from binge-watching the cult-favorite anime show ‘Attack on Titan,’ “Bleeding Eyes” is the soundtrack to an epic boss-level fight scene. Anticipation-building chords set the stage before mosh-inciting vocal screams and epic metal guitar riffs instantly shift the intensity. The laser-laced builds proceed to crescendo into brutish drops built around ear-splitting slabs of bass, violent Reese growls, punch-you-in-the-chest percussion, and an air of pure violence. Rock & roll vigor meets the mercilessness of metal and the destructiveness of dubstep for the skull-splitting cacophony of chaos. “Bleeding Eyes” is a beastly exploration of Antima’s maniacal sound design and devastating output.
Touching on the inspiration behind his new single, Antima recounts, “When I was producing this track, I was about to finish the anime ‘Attack on Titan.’ The intro is very inspired by the main opening track from that anime, while the drop is my vision of living in a world like that.”
Antima is an Italian producer who has been mastering his unholy sound for the better part of the last decade, honing his skills under various projects and aliases. His hard-hitting sound traverses the harder shades of dubstep including riddim and tearout. The producer has become a favorite in the scene gaining support from Midnight Tyrannosaurus and Oddprophet, while collaborating with T-Eleven, MVKUTA, Insidius, and getting tapped for a remix by the mighty Graphyt.
“Bleeding Eyes” is a bloodthirsty banger that sees metal and dubstep collide for a battle-ready anthem.
