Aria has accumulated over 125,000 streams across Spotify, while collaborating with producer and drummer Cam Outlaw for her debut release ‘Growth’, as well as an EP of self-produced material with Torna (Halima, Daisy the Great, and Tiger Darrow), Chad Post and Capotal.Currently. March awaits a fresh and elegant single from the New-York based talent, as she releases ‘When The Sun Comes Up’.

Opening with the impeccable and charming vocals of Aria ‘When The Sun Comes Up’ serve up a heartfelt, stripped-back affair with glistening modulations, breezy atmospherics and alluring, warped effects. It’s an utterly heart warming ballad filled with plenty of power to guide listeners on an elevating cosmic journey.

‘When the sun comes up is about what happens after you’ve laid it all out, after you’ve let yourself be vulnerable. What happens next? We all have to live in that space at times, as uncomfortable and uncertain as it is. We imagine the different outcomes, and weigh the right or wrong of it. It can be scary, for me it certainly is, but ultimately I want to be moving forward, and the risk is always worth it, no matter the outcome.’ – Aria Jay

Aria Jay honed her craft with opera master (and voice teacher of iconic rapper and producer Q-Tip) Judy Hages, before studying jazz performance and composition at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in Manhattan. Since graduating, the multi-faceted artist has worked and toured with many acts across the music scene while exploring a range of genres. Her latest release is an ode to her genre-spanning sound and reveals that there is a light at the end of the tunnel through story-telling and Aria’s blissful vocals.
