The 10-track package dives into transformational human experiences, with each track touching on emotions and experiences that arrive during the journey of life. The sequence of singles mirrors a timeline of personal growth from hopelessness to empowerment, portraying a narrative that can resonate with all music fans. “Drowning (feat. Heleen)” introduced the album to the world with its raw emotions of heartbreak, anxiety, and the sensation of being adrift, portraying the road to nowhere. “Someone To Forget” with Lights arrived next with a pivotal shift, a climb beyond those emotional depths embracing the reality of learning to let go. Lastly, “Lifeline” with Lena Leon emerged with a shimmer of hope, signifying reaching out for help and liberating from inner turmoil.
‘Together As One’ encapsulates a new soundscape from the duo while taking inspiration from their early musical inspirations. “September Nights” serves as a nostalgic homage to the 2012 progressive house era that initially sparked the duo to begin producing dance music. It encapsulates the very origin of their musical journey while highlighting their evolution and growth, standing as a testament to the album’s transformative themes. “I Miss You (feat. Trella)” demonstrates a newfound approach the duo took on the album, by beginning each song in an acoustic format and adding in live instrumentation for records that aren’t strictly all electronic – a technique that stands apart from what someone may expect from ARMNHMR.
