Formed by Amsterdam born vocalist Valentijn Hoogwerf and Berlin based producer Emil Vogel, AVALAN ROKSTON continue to develop a sound that connects underground electronic music with emotionally driven pop songwriting. Grammy nominated artist AVALAN brings his expressive vocal identity to the project, while ROKSTON’s productions add a cinematic and club focused edge.

That emotional push and pull became the foundation of the record, both lyrically and sonically. Designed to feel intimate and atmospheric while still carrying enough momentum for clubs and festival stages, “Talkin’” leans into melodic textures, late night emotion and vocal driven songwriting without overcomplicating the production. The track captures the feeling of replaying conversations in your head, searching for clarity while never fully finding it.
The release follows a string of standout collaborations, including work with ARTBAT and Mathame, as well as a reinterpretation of “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?” with Moby. Following the viral success of “Ocean” and “Something to Believe In,” AVALAN ROKSTON have continued building a strong international following across streaming platforms and social media.
On stage, the duo combine DJ sets with live vocals, creating an immersive hybrid performance that has brought them to major events including Tomorrowland and shows at Ushuaïa Ibiza.
