“These songs were created for my DJ sets,” Emerson shared in a press release. “Whether they’re entirely original, edits to recontextualize old favorites, instrumental, or feature me singing, they are all part of my perpetual emotion machine. And the machine steams on.”

‘Perpetual Emotion Machine’ marks a return to dance music for the US producer, following 2023’s dream pop album ‘Avalon Emerson & The Charm’.

On 21st February, Emerson kicked off her 9000 Dreams tour in Los Angeles, followed with stops in Paris, Brussels, New York and more.

The label goes on to describe the project as a “living, evolving” and “a conduit for human connection on the dance floor” inspired by a range of genres and timeframes.
