“Way Back” Marks First Official Song Recorded in Monstercat’s LA Studio.

Flourishing in-demand artist Aviella today joined forces with Canadian producer and singer-songwriter Conro for their pop-fueled dance single, “Way Back” on Monstercat. Arriving as the first officially-released song recorded in Monstercat’s Los Angeles studio, it’s a surefire summer anthem that affirms the duo’s kinetic energy. Aviella shares, “‘Way Back’” came together so naturally and it was so awesome working on this with Conro and our Swedish co-writers! When brainstorming ideas for the song, we wanted to explore the idea of finding comfort in the unknown, whilst also knowing there’s always space in our soul for the places we call home.”

Conro adds, “This song came from an organic place. It was a song I had been thinking about for a long while, then connecting with Aviella, she was the missing piece! It’s about feeling low, but remembering about the people in your life to help you along the way. I’m so happy with how this song turned out!”

Amassing nearly 50 million streams and collabs with leading producers such as Slushii, QUIX, ARMNHMR, and Claude VonStroke, Aviella has made career-defining moves in just a few years. Her recent hit “tell me what you’re thinking” earned a #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart followed by her nomination for ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2022 EDM Awards. She continues to dominate the live circuit with performances at legendary venues like Madison Square Garden and The Shrine, becoming a tour de force in the dance space.

Continuously carving a path as an instrumental electronic virtuoso, Conro has become one of Monstercat’s core artists over the last decade. Following a string of deeply emotive singles this year, he’s proven his musicianship spans genres and audiences. Appearing on Spotify billboards, securing countless Sirius XM spins, and reaching #1 on the US Dance Radio Charts, the only way from here is up for Conro.

Conro Bio

Canada-born Conor Patton, better known as Conro, developed a passion for music, surrounded by a loving and supportive family with a deep-rooted passion for music. Adopting elements from his early childhood music education, Conro shaped a catchy signature sound in dance music with his upbeat, electro house tracks.

Conro received a wave of praise from his electro house and future bass production style. With his Connecting The Dots EP, Conro unveiled the first of many chart-toppers in his future in “Close,” which hit Billboard’s Dance Airplay Chart at #17. Though this style of music has brought him plenty of success, Conro chose to follow a style that aligned with his core ethos he wanted to convey to a wider audience: a vibrant, funky, and instrumentation-driven soundscape while implementing his own impressive vocals.

From his newly forged sound, Conro has amassed a collection of hit tracks that display his musical versatility. With the release of “Me,” Conro saw firsthand the impact of his music worldwide. His success only grew with “Take Me There” breaking way rising to #12 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay Chart, shortly followed by “Trippin” rising to #7.

With Conro’s debut album, Level Days, set to drop May 2020, Conro expands on his signature style and sound, showcasing his versatility across genres from dance, indie pop, and everything in between. He continues to embrace all the musical influences whilst staying true and maintaining his widely loved sound.

From penning Slushii’s “Never Let You Go (feat. Sophia Reyes),” to her feature on “Inspiration” with Unknown Brain spanning over 32 Million plays across Spotify & YouTube, Aviella now boasts a whopping 54 collaborations and features with industry-leading artists including QUIX, ARMNHMR, Slushii, Barclay Crenshaw (Claude Von Stroke) and Vincent. One of the EP’s most personal tracks “tell me what you’re thinking,” connected with audiences across North America, earning Aviella her first #1 Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart and #1 US Dance Radio Mediabase single.

Aviella’s passionate work ethic delves beyond her music. From as early as age 8, Aviella actively used her voice to improve and give back to her surrounding communities. The young talent often volunteered at her local senior home, performing oldies (such as “Mr. Postman”) to boost spirits and feel connected to her late great Grandmother. She also put on shows to raise money for organizations such as Soldier’s Angels, which included performances at airport terminals for returning US military personnel who had no one to greet them. When she moved to Orange County, the then 15-year-old Aviella worked with the local police department to start the first chapter of Do the Right Thing in California. Aviella is a firm believer of encouraging good acts within the community, so much so that her hometown, Rochester, NY commemorates her for her acts of kindness and charity every June 30 (Aviella Winder Day).

Outside of music and philanthropy, Aviella loves fashion, social media, and especially her Sphynx cat Maraca, often coordinating matching outfits for the duo.
