The New York-born, New Jersey-based Avision lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids sublabel REK’D for the first time with the ‘Get Down’ EP, arriving 14th November 2025. The title track emanates pure NYC soul, pairing uplifting vocals with euphoric energy, while ‘Papi’ moves into deeper territory, its stripped-back groove and shadowy stabs giving way to flickers of funky, jazz-tinged warmth.

Emerging from New York’s club culture, Avision broke through with his ‘Excess’ EP on Beardman Records in 2018 and has since released on Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Cocoon, and Black Book Records, alongside his own MATTER+ label, which he runs with his cousin Victor Calderone.
Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense house music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has since become a home for dancefloor-focused EPs from artists including St. David, Uncertain, James Juke, James Curd, Ketiov, and more.
