Barcelona-based DJ/producer Bastian Bux has been serving up groove-powered beats for over a decade. With his vibrant mix of funk, house, and minimal touches, Bux has established himself as an elrow favourite, gracing major venues like Studio 338 (London), Factory Town (Miami), and Savaya (Bali). Now, riding the success of summer Ibiza performances from ANTS at Ushuaïa to elrow at Amnesia, he delivers three slinking house productions on Loco Dice’s Desolat with ‘Cause Statement’, including a collaboration with rising Argentinian talent Discip.
The EP opens with ‘Starleta’ where brooding sub-bass and tough kicks meet under tripped-out vocals, building with intensity and groove while weighty beats burst through. ‘Fremont Weirdos’ packs a punch with skippy percussion, bumping bass licks and thunderous drums, weaving a shadowy, murky atmosphere. Bux and Discip. then wrap up the lineup with ‘No Bigger’, a track ready to rattle warehouses across the globe with its euphoric builds, captivating funk and commanding vocals.
