Colombian DJ and producer Bástian V is a vital voice in the Afro house world. He has had huge support for his standout tracks like ‘Mamita’ and ‘Deja 2.0’ which have been played by tastemakers like Blond:Ish, Bedouin and Keinemusik. Nicolas Nohra also hails from Colombia but grew up in Lebanon so brings a range of Middle Eastern influences to his sounds which he plays at clubs around the world from Paris to Tulum. Completing the trio for this new single is Oluwadamvic, a key vocalist in the Afro house world. He hails from Lagos and has worked with plenty of the scene’s most prominent producers.
Together they cook up ‘Agbara’ which fizzes with sugary synth lines over funky broken beats. The percussion is organic and the drums big and warm while Oluwadamvic layers in his smoky, sensuous and soulful tones to make for a life-affirming sound that will be huge this summer.
