Grimsby DJ and producer Baylee Brown lands on Lee Foss‘ Repopulate Mars with the ‘So Fly’ EP, out on 30th October.

Brown’s sound took shape around the off-kilter rominimal coming out of Romania’s Sunwaves festival, earning him a following in the UK’s underground house and deep tech scene, with releases on LW Recordings, Grooved Selects and Sintoniza Records, as well as on OUT OF FOCUS, the imprint he runs to showcase his glitchier side. His tracks have travelled from Sunwaves to Music On at Pacha, picking up support from Marco Carola, Jamie Jones and Paco Osuna along the way. Away from the studio, he heads up the ENiGMA event brand.

“I knew as soon as I finished these tracks I wanted to send them over to Lee for the label. Repopulate Mars has been a big goal of mine and a label that really helped inspire and get me into the scene as a teenager, so to land these tracks here is a real full circle moment for me.” – Baylee Brown

The title track sets the tone, dark and driving, with Brown’s tight low end doing the heavy lifting. ‘Keep On’ puts a subtle twist on a Swedish House Mafia loop, carried by a smooth bassline. Closer ‘Frisky’ flips the vocal hook from Tinie Tempah’s hit of the same name, winding up the tension before dropping into a clean, punchy four-to-the-floor groove.

Baylee Brown’s ‘So Fly’ EP drops via Repopulate Mars on 30th October 2026.
