Bianca Oblivion and Machinedrum have teamed up for a new single ‘Til Tomorrow’ is featured on Oblivion’s forthcoming debut EP for LUCKYME®, ‘Net Work’
“I met Travis [Machinedrum] about two years ago when I played his first ‘+’ b2b party in LA on Halloween. Since then, we’ve played together across multiple US cities – on his tour and as part of his + party residency. When I signed with LUCKYME®, I knew I wanted to involve Travis in the project. His connection to the label and his previous releases made it a natural fit,” said the LA-based producer in a press release.
She continued: “We came across this dreamy track, ‘Hold Me Till Tomorrow,’ and it became the centerpiece. Both Travis and I are deeply inspired by Chicago Juke and Footwork, so we built on those pounding 160 BPM kicks and vocal chops while maintaining the euphoric essence of the original sample.”
