BLR, the club-focussed alias of Leon Bolier, has recently appeared on the likes of John Summit’s Off The Grid, Sink or Swim and Anjunabeats, now turning his sights to Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars with yet another fresh production. He wrote the lyrics while watching ‘The Last Of Us’ on HBO, after he became inspired to write something “kind of similar to how The Last Of Us combines something beautiful with a state of decay.”
The resulting ‘Lingerie’ is a perfect contrast of sensuous lyrics and gritty grooves. The vocals stand out on top of brooding bass and synth stabs, with sharp claps and fizzing leads carrying the track along, sure to have the dance floor in rapture. This is a monstrous club cut from BLR and Repopulate Mars.
