BMT’s new single, “Shine,” a soulful tribute to Dolly Parton. BMT pours her heart into the record, offering a deeply moving piece driven by pure admiration and complete artistic devotion.
In “Shine” (A Tribute to Dolly Parton), BMT (Briana Marie Turner) delivers an aching, deeply emotional homage that hits with overwhelming resonance in the wake of the country icon’s passing. What begins as a soaring acoustic cover transforms into a profound celebration of an incomparable legacy. Interwoven throughout the performance is a tenderly curated visual retrospective featuring archival photographs that trace Parton’s extraordinary life, from her humble East Tennessee beginnings to her most dazzling, larger-than-life stage moments. Paired with BMT’s impassioned vocal delivery and gospel-tinged harmonies, the music and imagery blend into a poignant, heart-wrenching memorial. It stands not just as a tribute to a song, but as a loving, tearful farewell to an artist whose light touched generations.
BMT’S inspirations range from the soulful intimacy of Alicia Keys and Billie Holiday, to the fearless retro spirit of Amy Winehouse and the Stray Cats. Her rich musical background includes touring with Machine Gun Kelly and collaborations with creatives affiliated with will.i.am, The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Darius Rucker, and many more.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Briana Marie Turner aka BMT is a Vintage Belle with a pop twist, known for her distinctive rockabilly-inspired style that blends timeless charm with modern pop edge. Raised in Muncie, Indiana, she grew up in a family of musicians where every holiday and reunion felt like a full-blown concert.
BMT began singing in her church’s children’s choir, eventually teaching it as she got older, and remained in choir throughout her entire school career. She went on to perform in show choir, talent shows, and competitive vocal events, developing both her voice and commanding stage presence early on.
After high school, she briefly attended beauty school (a self-proclaimed “beauty school dropout”) before choosing her true calling when she joined a music group—and everything took off. That leap led to touring with Machine Gun Kelly, collaborating with creatives affiliated with WILL.I.AM and The Black Eyed Peas, and working alongside an impressive roster of artists and producers.
After the group parted ways, BMT continued her journey as a solo artist, working with creatives behind the discovery of iconic artists like Lady Gaga, BOYZ II MEN and Whitney Houston, as well as collaborating with Darius Rucker and recording music she’s deeply proud of. BMT is Signed To VYRUS MEDIA, the Production Company owned by Charles Farrar, a multi-platinum Grammy award-winning producer.
