A series spread across September and October, Booka Shade’s ongoing ‘Contour’ project has seen the captivating pairing release a new single every fortnight, uncovering a selection of productions quickly becoming fan favourites from their ever- evolving live sets. With their USA weekend and return to Australia and New Zealand both on the horizon, the Blaufield Music bosses uncover the project in its entirety as they welcome a collection of five tracks – including new single ‘Blue Elephant (Contour 4)’ and a fresh rework of ‘Confide (Contour 1)’.
Introducing the now familiar sonics of the resonant ‘Confide (Contour 1)’, the animated ‘Corrosion (Contour 2)’, and the rapturous ‘Little Treasure (Contour 3)’ the duo set the tone for the new productions on the package. ‘Blue Elephant (Contour 4)’ is a slow-blooming ride through a combination of hazy and vibrant soundscapes as listeners journey along the track’s floating path before revisiting ‘Confide (Contour 1)’ and delivering a blissful ride which still packs a punch in all the key moments.
