Released on their label, Blaufield Music, across their first two EPs of the year, Booka Shade’s ‘No Memory’ and ‘Outlandos’ offered the first glimpses into the pair’s next forthcoming album project, racking up a wealth of love from fellow legendary names including Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nicole Moudaber, Joris Voorn and Oxia, to name a few. Continuing their passion for supporting emerging, exciting names and their ongoing remix packages, the iconic German duo now welcome two new names to the label, KASIA, who arrives following music via Drumcode, Armada and Octopus, and LORRAINNE, whose recent releases include Krafted and Astral, as the pair serve up fresh versions of the two productions.
Providing her take on ‘No Memory’,’ KASIA builds on the track’s vibrant lead melodies and flips the script with a reinforced frame of brooding basslines and impactful kicks. Meanwhile, LORRAINNE’s take on ‘Outlandos’ delivers a warping and menacing rework armed with ominous textures that offset the production’s swirling synths and hypnotic builds.
