BORNE Releases “Can I” On Nightmode Records

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 27, 2026 – Boundary-pushing producer borne today makes his seventh appearance on NIGHTMODE with his follow-up single, “Can I”. A melange of low-end firepower built from 140, bassline, UK garage, and house, “Can I” is an adrenaline-spiking bassline cut that coalesces the diametric points of his genre-fluid spectrum. Splitting the difference between 140 and house, the track slices through the space with swift drum shuffles, hypeman MC shoutouts add momentum behind the dark, dirty rhythm. Murky, modulated phasers and velvety vocal chops contrast with the booming bassline pulses and piercing, rapidfire shrills, resulting in a well-balanced dancefloor banger poised to bring the house down.

Can I” is one of my favorite attempts at combining my 140 bass sounds onto an energetic house track” – borne.
