Upon its pre-sale this week, PORTER ROBINSON’S SECOND SKY FESTIVAL-set for Saturday, June 15–completely sold out in minutes. A second date was then added for Sunday, June 16 and also immediately sold out within minutes.
Overwhelmed by the positive response, organizers quickly made arrangements to add an additional date. With the final general on-sale now complete, tickets are no longer available for either day.
Presented by Goldenvoice, the expanded two-day festival will take place at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (MHSP) in the Bay Area of Northern California. Each day boasts an almost identical iteration of the Porter Robinson-headlined lineup, with the exception of G Jones who was unable to play the second day due to a prior commitment. Organizers have not yet identified a replacement for his slot on the new day.
The festival is highlighted by performances from Madeon (DJ Set), Cashmere Cat, G Jones (June 15 only), Kero Kero Bonito, Chrome Sparks, Anamanaguchi, Wednesday Campanella and Nina Las Vegas. For the headline performance, Porter Robinson will perform his groundbreaking “Worlds Live” show for the only time in 2019. The performance will see Porter singing, manipulating multi-tracks, triggering samples, and playing keys along with an immaculately produced visual and lighting show.
