Two of electronic music’s most visionary modern women unite on BPitch – label owner and techno icon Ellen Allien and transmedia artist, songwriter and composer Rosa Anschütz. Both create collaged worlds, with their music and spirit reaching across many disciplines and spaces, bringing their uncompromising personal artistic message to audiences from Berlin and far beyond.
Taken from the first instalment of remixes of Rosa Anschütz’ widely acclaimed album, Goldener Strom, Rosa Anschütz‘s ethereal and hypnotic sound is intertwined with Ellen Allien‘s riveting techno force to create a powerful emotional potion. Ellen’s remix of ‘’Their Blood’’ has flooded dancefloors through-out the world at the end of 2022, picking up on her love for Rosa’s unique spirit, timeless vocals and mesmerising energy.
Created by the Japan-based art director Sage Morei of Horizon Lab, who specialises in 3D VR environment creation, the new visual for ‘’Their Blood’’ in both its sonic and visual form is a distinctive, modern rave take on the new wave and post-punk aesthetic of the late 80s – a unification of the two artists’ distinct and highly developed signature styles, that share endlessly poetic common roots.
The album is still undergoing a transformative process, with several reimagining remix packages due for release in the coming months.
