Julio Torres is one of the pioneers of the first generation of DJs in São Paulo, who now has an international reputation. He has been at the heart of the house scene for more than 20 years and has played everywhere from Rock in Rio to Tomorrowland and Space Ibiza. His music lands on the likes of Cocada, and he recently collaborated with Brazilian house duo and childhood friends Ketoots on a new track for Solomon’s Diynamic. They now hook up once more for another steamy, summer-ready groove on Notre Dame’s ever more vital Paranormal label.

Driven by hypnotic grooves, subtle tension and Carol Monteiro’s magnetic vocal, ‘Thought I Should Go All The Way’ blends intimacy and club energy. The groove is loopy and hooky, with a rugged guitar riff at its heart and sweeping synths adding extra movement. Brighter chords then bring celebratory uplift as the vocal shifts from spoken word to a more expressive, soaring style. It’s a catchy sound that’s perfect for cosy back rooms and outdoor festival stages alike.

Julio Torres, Ketoots’ ‘Thought I Should Go All The Way’ comes on Paranormal as release PRNRML007

on 22nd May 2026.
