Los Angeles, CA – Friday, July 17 – British DJ TeeDee debuts on Insomniac Records with his new single “I Just Need You.” The latest release is a minimal tech track tailormade to compliment the sets in the underground space he is known for.
Once a hidden gem of Sheffield’s dance music scene, TeeDee is a British producer and multi-instrumentalist who is witnessing what a runaway success story looks like firsthand. Honing his skills as a local beatsmith, making rap and drill beats, that later paved the way for him to become a platinum-certified torchbearer for bassline culture.
“I Just Need You” features his signature vocal style, with husky croons and R&B-inspired hooks centered on themes of desire and connection. The vocals ride over a club-focused groove built from metallic stabs, crisp hats, snappy percussion, occasional breakbeat rhythms, and rolling basslines that give the track momentum without overwhelming its melodic core.
TeeDee took the house scene by storm with his 6-track ‘House FC’ EP, released via his own label Hyperactive World, has gained serious traction, earning support from Josh Baker, Max Dean, Joseph Capriati, Alisha and Prospa.
