Pacha’s New York operation continues into winter as the former Avant Gardner Great Hall reopens on November 6 and 7 with a redesigned, 2,600-capacity main room.
Pacha’s New York comeback isn’t packing up for the winter. After its debut open-air season at the former Brooklyn Mirage site, the Ibiza-born brand opens Brooklyn Pacha, a reimagined indoor venue in the former Avant Gardner Great Hall, Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7. The new room gives Pacha a year-round footprint in New York, bridging the gap until Pacha New York’s outdoor oasis returns next May.
The space itself is no afterthought. Spanning 11,175 square feet with 17-to-23-foot ceilings, Brooklyn Pacha’s main hall holds more than 2,600 guests beneath a d&b audiotechnik sound system, three 13-by-13-foot LED screens, 12 additional LED installations, and more than 450 lighting fixtures.
Loco Dice headlines Brooklyn Pacha’s opening night alongside Italian techno heavyweight Ilario Alicante and house icon HoneyLuv. Saturday belongs to New York house heritage, as Nervous Records celebrates 35 years with Louie Vega, Oscar G, Anané, Will Automagic of The Carry Nation, and special guest Victor Calderone. Founded in 1991, the label has shaped house music worldwide across more than 5,000 releases.
“New York deserves great nightlife all year round,” Pacha Group CEO Aloki Batra told the New York Post. “Brooklyn Pacha carries that spirit through the winter indoors, before Pacha New York returns outdoors in May.”
The winter slate runs deep from there, with Miss Monique, Madeon, Guy Gerber, Mathame, Damian Lazarus b2b Maceo Plex, Nora En Pure, Nicole Moudaber, and A-Trak all booked through February.
