BURAK SIS is set to drop a remix of N1NJA’s new single, ‘Alpine Air’.A fortnight on from the ethereal melodic anthem’s release, which christened N1NJA’s new Tales Of Twilight label, Turkish artist and Cocolino Records boss BURAK SIS delivers a new widescreen rework.
The release flips ‘Alpine Air’ into a club-friendly electronic heater, featuring undulating synths, punchy percussion and seductive loops, alongside N1NJA’s signature, immersive field recordings, this time featuring the sounds of snowmobiles and skis carving through the Alps.
“Tales of Twilight was born from a desire to create a space where sound and storytelling meet the primal pulse of nature,” N1NJA – real name Farah Nanji – shared on the project. “It’s a portal for dreamers, adventurers, and explorers to enter the ultimate flow state where music becomes a vehicle for introspection, elevation and expansion, both on and off the dancefloor.”
The track and remix succeed a series of cinematic singles from N1NJA, including ‘The Vibe’, alongside Mr. V, and ‘Infinite Being’ with Cafe De Anatolia and Zayn Mohammed. Melding starry-eyed techno with progressive textures and traditional instrumentation informed by her Indian and African roots, it’s a sound that’s joyously transportive, and continues to evolve with every release.
N1NJA launched her Tales Of Twilight imprint earlier this year with an intimate, invite-only party overlooking Mont Blanc. Since then, the label has continued to build its presence through a curated series of secret gatherings in London, Ibiza and beyond, as well as a forthcoming ADE event described as an “exclusive moment of sound and storytelling”.
