BVNQUET returns to Defecteds new garage imprint Bad Decisions for a collaboration with UKG icon General Levy, OG Reppa.
Founded by Defected CEO / UKG aficionado Wez Saunders as a self-proclaimed passion project, BVNQUETs label debut Too Late Now featuring Emma Cannon launched Bad Decisions garage aesthetic in July of 2024. The record proved BVNQUETs status as one-to-watch in the modern UKG scene, with a sonic that blended fresh, youthful production with a healthy dose of golden-era UKG nostalgia.
The young producer now collaborates with a certified legend of that very same era – UK dancehall, jungle and garage scene mainstay General Levy, whose catalogue as an MC and deejay has seen him collaborate with A-list artists from Madnesss Suggs, M-Beat, and R&B singer Mark Morrison in the 90s, to Chase & Status, Fedde Le Grand and Idris Elba in recent years. General Levys distinct and explosive flow is front-and-centre for OG Reppa, supported by rip-roaring production as BVNQUET keeps the energy at a peak with a confidence well beyond his years.
