London’s Casper Cole has been a consistent presence on Blaufield Music ever since his debut appearance in 2020, first contributing a standout remix for Booka Shade’s ‘Perfect In A Way’ before serving up the memorable ‘Fader’ as part of the label’s ‘Fourtunes 2’ VA not long after. Since then, he has solidified his position as a key label family member with multiple EPs alongside his remix of the label bosses ‘Blackout: White Noise’ as part of the ‘Booka Shade: 20 Years Reworked’ compilation. Alongside releases on respected imprints such as Oddity and Running Clouds, Cole’s ability to craft immersive soundscapes that drive the dancefloor has made him one to watch.
For ‘The Soul/Indigo’, he teams up with Raws, an emerging producer and instrumentalist, marking their first collaboration and delivering a two-track EP brimming with melodic richness and dynamic energy. Opening the EP, ‘The Soul’ is a deep and emotive journey. Driven by hypnotic grooves, lush textures, and a soulful undercurrent, the track seamlessly blends vibrant vocals with dancefloor potency. In contrast, ‘Indigo’ takes a lighter approach, combining atmospheric synths, crisp percussion, rich keys and sweeping melodic lines to craft a vibrant and uplifting composition.
