Los Angeles, CA – Friday, September 18 – Eclectic Tunisian-born producer Cera Khin returns to Insomniac’s MUTATE Records with her sophomore single “I Don’t Care.”, a hard-psy techno track encapsulating her gothic, dauntless sense of purpose. Following August’s release on the label, “I Don’t Date Humans,” the new single continues the lead-up to her forthcoming EP, pushing her genre-defying sound further into psychedelic territory.

The track’s spellbinding spoken-word vocals establish the track’s blasé, confrontational attitude before escalating into full-force vocal shouts, matched by bolting psy basslines and driving percussion. Frenetic grooves collide with morphing LFOs, glitching textures, sinister pads, and trippy synth riffs, creating a relentless hard-psy framework.

“‘I Don’t Care.’ is a scream. A purge. A fuck-it moment.

‘I Don’t Care.’ becomes a declaration of freedom.

It’s about caring so much that, eventually, you reach a point where you have to stop. Not because you don’t feel, but because you’ve felt enough to know what deserves your energy – and what doesn’t.

It’s about boundaries. About understanding that no means no. About protecting your peace, reclaiming your energy, and choosing yourself without apology.”Cera Khin

Born in Tunisia, now settled in Berlin, Cera Khin has carved her own path through the international underground since 2019, developing a sound that refuses to settle within a single genre. Her productions and DJ sets move fluidly between hard techno, bounce, acid, hardgroove, schranz, psytechno, and experimental sounds stemming from her mantra: “I play whatever the fuck I want.”

Her return to MUTATE Records follows “I Don’t Date Humans,” released in August as the first single from her forthcoming EP. The track earned radio support from Lilly Palmer, Tiësto, and Bassjackers, alongside coverage from DJ Mag LATAM, Moon Lvnding, Find Your Sounds, UNDRTONE, T in Techno, Only Techno, & Techno Germany.

Khin’s electrifying live sets have been captured on Boiler Room x Glitch Festival (521k views), HÖR BERLIN (603k views), Awakenings Festival 2024, and a full schranz set on the UNREAL stage at Monegros published recently.

She has upcoming tour dates at Escape Psycho Circus, Echostage Washington, Fabric London, Fabrik Madrid, Unreal Germany Cologne, Duro Barcelona & More…

ABOUT MUTATE

MUTATE emerged at the tail end of 2025 as a response to the accelerating extremes of modern rave culture. More than a live event series, it’s a byproduct of generations of seismic shifts from within the Insomniac ecosystem, operating as a platform for high-intensity electronic music that thrives under pressure. It’s not defined by BPMs or rigid genre conventions. Instead, MUTATE rapidly adapts to new strains of hard techno, schranz, hardgroove, hard house, hard bounce, and adjacent hybrids spawning from the shadows of warehouses and strobe-lit club floors. MUTATE Records extends this philosophy into release form, serving as a breeding ground for producers reshaping the molecular structure of fast-tempo hard dance. With forward-thinking artists like Charlie Sparks and AZYR bubbling inside its nucleus, the newly launched imprint exists to accelerate progression, challenge convention, and keep the underground in a constant state of flux. MUTATE is an agent of change, and it’s spreading past the point of containment.
