Berlin-born, Kyiv-based producer, DJ, and K41 club booker Christoph Faust returns to SEVEN with the ‘The Window Upstairs’ EP, landing 23rd January 2026, and featuring a B-side remix from BLANKA, and a digital bonus version from Lydia Eisenblätter. Faust follows up September’s collaboration with label boss CRYME as C&CF on specialist sibling label Artysta, which won support from the likes of Saoirse, Louise Chen, Carista, I.Jordan, and more.
Christoph Faust’s ‘The Windows Upstairs’ EP opens with the springy, tightly wound energy of ‘Keep It Up’ where playful vocal chops orbit rolling pads and a groove built for peak-time lift. The title track follows with a soft-focus glow, a dub-soaked, emotional cut shaped by airy synths and a quiet nostalgia, tipping its hat to the Panorama Bar windows that inspired it. On the flip, ‘Don’t Stop’ brings a stripped, tribal-leaning swing, its percussion placed with precision as subtle pads haunt the edges.
BLANKA then steps in to reimagine ‘Don’t Stop’, smoothing it into a warm, hypnotic tech house drift driven by a heavy kick-and-clap backbone in a remix made for long, late after-hours. Faust closes the vinyl with ‘A Voicemail’, an intimate, textured dub house sketch built around a message left after a missed call, where longing and dissonance fold into the mix. As a digital add-on, Lydia Eisenblätter pushes the EP into 90s-infused progressive territory, delivering a driving, analog-tinged reinterpretation that rounds the project with boldness and motion.
