Marking his label debut, the two-track EP features a solo cut plus a collaboration with fellow Brazilian artist Gabss, with the release set to drop via Hellbent Records on 10th May 2024.
Scouring the globe to showcase emerging names of note from international hotbeds within house music, Cloonee and his Hellbent Records imprint are continuing to lead the way when it comes to dancefloor-driven cuts making serious waves from the next generation of talents. With Brazil featuring as a regular home of artists on the label, the next EP on the imprint welcomes the arrival of two new names as OldChild makes his label debut alongside fellow countryman Gabss, with the two building on releases via Nervous, Clarisse, Material, CUFF and Organic Pieces with new material this May.
Collaborating across the EP’s title track, ‘Justiça’ is bumping and rolling, fusing playful modulated female chants with vibrant sun-soaked brass melodies to balance tough with smooth, while ‘Everybody Hates DJs’ sees OldChild step out solo across a darker, driving percussive workout to close things out with a bang.
