Linney’s engrossing vocals conjure up vivid images of a dreamlike sanctuary to a simpler, picturesque expanse. Linney opens up about her writing process, saying, “I started writing ‘Quiet Of My Mind’ during a time that I wished I could find peace with everything going on around me. I grew up on 10 acres of old farmland, and I now live in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world (Los Angeles). It’s where I need to be right now, but sometimes I close my eyes and envision a small house by a stream where all I hear is rain and crickets as I’m falling asleep each night.”
CloudNone offers his perspective on the collaboration, sharing, “When Linney showed me this vocal that she had written, it hit me in just the right spot. I resonated deeply with it and knew I immediately had to contribute to it.”
