Klint starts his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with ‘Tomahawk’. Raw, distinctive sonics and chunky drums make for a dancefloor trip followed by the stomping peaks of ‘Forces’, where the RSPX and Planet Rhythm artist exploits a chopped-up vocal sample, keeping the energy high.
Klint then continues with ‘All In’, a late-night hypnotic roller, before the title track ‘Immersive Culture’ closes down affairs via quality spoken vocal work and tumbling sequence stabs. This first EP of the year packs a punch and sets a precedent for the heady, multi-purpose techno we can expect from CLR in 2024.
