Once a pizza delivery driver, now one of our most exciting acts to date, today, Montréal-based producer CRi announces his second artist album, ‘Miracles’, out this autumn on Anjunadeep.
Following on from his award-winning 2020 debut LP ‘Juvenile’, his forthcoming album ‘Miracles’ takes inspiration from the energy of touring and nightlife that is back on the agenda again, post-pandemic, and is set to be CRi’s most expansive to date, featuring collaborations with artists including Half Moon Run, Klô Pelgag and Sophia Bel, and spanning the sounds of drum and bass, indie, electronic, and chillout.
“I composed this album during the last three years in all four corners of the globe. The touring lifestyle forced me into a new reality. I had to create anywhere and everywhere; on the train, on a park bench, on the plane, in my hotel room and of course in my studio. The more it progressed, the less I felt the need to control my environment, the more I was attentive to it. Every little miracle that happened around me became a source of inspiration… Nightlife and the gatherings that come with it are a big part of my life (again) and I think you can feel it in my music.”– CRi
