
Cromby releases a new EP, ‘Mandela Hall’, via his Potency label. The Berlin-based Irish DJ and producer returns with its uncompromising successor. Named after Mandela Hall in Belfast where Cromby attended his first raves at Shine and went onto become a resident DJ aged 18, the EP distils elements of strobing house, breaks and electro into four heads-down heaters.

These tracks might arrive just in time for the sunshine months, but they’re undoubtedly crafted with the club in mind. Take the sweat-inducing title track, for example, with its endless tech grooves, jacking drums and percolating bassline.
The four-tracker follows his contribution to Live at Robert Johnson’s ‘Lifesaver 5’ compilation celebrating 25 years of the legendary German club, as well as his aforementioned ‘House Flava’ EP for Sally C’s Big Saldo’s Chunkers imprint.
