The day has finally come. After 10 consecutive weeks of US Spotify chart domination by The Chainsmokers and Halsey with their hit song, “Closer,” there is now a new sheriff in town. “Starboy,” the highly publicized Weeknd and Daft Punk track that came as the silence breaker for the French duo, has officially taken over the No. 1 spot.

“Starboy” has earned 10.745 million streams in the US during the tracking week of October 14-20, topping “Closer” by about 100,000 plays.

As the weeks continue, it remains to be seen whether or not the track will be able to maintain its lead.

In the meantime, revisit the song below.
