Supported by BBC Radio 1, 6Music, KISS and Capital, London-based DJ and producer Danglo has remixed Maribou State, Crystal Fighters and Submotion Orchestra while joining Elderbrook and RÜFÜS DU SOL across Europe with his live act. Hot on the heels of his latest Toolroom release ‘My Mind’, the Underscore Four boss returns to his imprint with his three-track ‘For Real’ EP.
Snappy percussion and elastic basslines unpack title track ‘For Real’, as blissful pads and silky strings work with repeating vocals before ‘Can’t Control’ delivers rubbery tones underneath graceful keys and echoing lyrics in this emotive cut. To close, wavering stabs and hissing percussion work together in the wobbly ‘God I Luv U’ as timely claps and elegant harmonies steer the production’s driving low-ends.
