generation with his latest offering “1994.” The aptly titled track is brimming with nostalgia, drawing heavy influence from the raw energy of Belgian techno. Encapsulating the era with its main melodic motif, the single kicks off with a pummeling drive before proceeding into a slowburn that ignites with its suspense-building breakdown. Piece by mesmerizing piece, the track ramps up with starfalling arpeggiations, foghorn stabs, and lashing bassline plucks until the thunderous techno climax provides a peek into a generation of what many staunchly claim to be the gold standard.
