The nomination is the 10th for the French star at the prestigious awards.

Globally renowned DJ and producer, David Guetta is nominated for the GRAMMY for ‘Best Dance / Electronic Recording’ for his mammoth track ‘Hero’, a collaboration with Afrojack.

Progressive house anthem ‘Hero’ has amassed over 50 million global streams and hit numerous Top 20 charts worldwide, including #1 on the US dance chart, since its release in April this year.

The GRAMMY nomination is the latest in a string of successes for the French artist, having won the 2021 MTV EMA award for the Best Electronic Act and being named #1 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll for the second year in a row.

David has had a prolific November, releasing a flurry of global anthems across the David Guetta, Jack Back and Future Rave projects. ‘Family’ with Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was released earlier this month. The track was also released with a host of artists from across the globe, including pop phenom, Sofia Reyes from Mexico, Norwegian talent Julie Bergan and Italian singer songwriter, Annalisa. The video, starring David himself, was released on Monday 22nd November including cameo’s from all the international acts. Watch the video HERE

This followed a remix package for his Coldplay x BTS collab, ‘My Universe’, released on Friday 18th November. Creating two edits of the international hit, Guetta produced a stripped back extended remix which transforms the original into a progressive house monster. Listen to the remix HERE. Teaming up with Roland Clark and Fancy Inc for the latest Jack Back cut, ‘Alive’ was released on 12th November via Sink or Swim.

Marking his 10th nomination for the prestigious awards, David will be looking to add a third GRAMMY win to his long list of accolades in the New Year.
