June 21, 2019 – GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum singer/songwriter DAYA releases her new single “Left Me Yet” off her forthcoming album on Interscope Records. The honest, vulnerable track finds the 20-year-old grappling with insecurities in a relationship over magnetic beats and synths – listen to the song HERE and watch the music video HERE.
“Left Me Yet” marks the second glimpse into Daya’s sophomore album, following the release of “Insomnia” in March. Described by PAPER as a “nervy, heart-racing bop,” the track has amassed more than 60 million streams.
Most recently, Daya teamed up with 10-time Oscar nominated songwriter Diane Warren for “Forward Motion,” the original song featured in the Amazon Studios film Late Night – currently playing in theaters nationwide – starring Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson.
Throughout 2019, Daya has consistently brought her energetic performances to fans across the world. In May, she did a run of shows in Asia – including her own headlining show in Shanghai – and opened for Carly Rae Jepsen on the Paris and London dates of her Dedicated Tour. Stateside, she recently performed at multiple Pride events and will perform at the first U.S. WorldPride Opening Ceremony on June 26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, among other illustrious artists like Cyndi Lauper, Billy Porter, Chaka Khan, Ciara and Todrick Hall. Upcoming festival performances include VG – Lista Show (June 21) in Oslo, Norway, Electric Forest (June 28) in Rothbury, MI, LoveLoud (June 29) in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Summerfest (July 5) in Milwaukee, WI.
