DEAS drops his first EP of the year on his BAU MUZIK imprint, consisting of four upfront techno cuts.

The rolling drums of ‘Praxis’ open things up in this new release by BAU MUZIK head DEAS, the track builds the energy with filtering stabs and echoing highs, before the frenetic sounds of ‘Black Form’ ricochet off his snappy grooves and cavernous techno bleeps. Title track ‘Elements’ then enters with raw, unmatched power. Distorted synths weaving through layers of subtle percussion in what feels like a futuristic car chase through narrow cityscapes, with ‘Prefix’ closing out the antics featuring spongy toms and resonant sequences arpeggiating over a hefty dosage of relentless rhythm.

Fresh off the back of releases on Planet RhythmA R T S and three EP’s on Chris Liebing’s CLR, DEAS kickstarts his 2023 with four new tracks on wax via his BAU MUZIK imprint. His music is a staple in the record bags of touring artists like Richie HawtinMarcel Dettmann & Rodhad, additionally the Poland-based artist boasts a busy gigging schedule of his own, regularly performing across Europe, Asia, and South America.

With the ‘Elements’ EP DEAS showcases the sheer quality of his raw techno sound, and proves once again why he’s one of the most exciting names in techno.

DEAS ‘Elements EP’ drops on BAU MUZIK 5th May 2023.
