Peach Discs taps house mainstay Demuja for the ‘title.txt’ EP, landing on 22nd May 2026.
Opener ‘Stop Asking Me’ is irresistibly wiggly with snappy, stripped-back drums that lean toward techno but are laden with dusty samples and dubstep flavours in the breakdown. ‘Oldhead’ follows with a hurried, swaggering dub-house sound featuring hazy chords and smudged vocals for a steamy late-night trip. ‘Say No More’ sinks deeper into dubbed-out territory, with modulating textures wrapping around skippy, insistent percussion.

‘Tool 6’ carries equal warmth and drive, with hints of early Wiggle-era tech house and soft chords adding the soul. ‘Pulse’ explores a more direct sound, threading subtle acid through swinging drums as arcing synth lines bring a sense of cosmic wonder. Two digital-only cuts round out the EP: ‘Almost Cherry’ rides waves of warm Reese bass and flickering synth motifs that speak to early Detroit, while ‘Art of Failing’ closes out with deep-rooted house swing and aching vocal smears, perfect for dialing up the emotional intensity.
In Demuja’s own words, the EP is “a little love letter to the dancefloor that lives within the idea of a long, sweaty night out. All the tracks were made at very different stages – some produced a while ago, others more recently – and I hope that’s part of what makes the EP interesting as well.”
From his base in Austria, Demuja has been blazing his own trail for a number of years on labels like Aus Music, Permanent Vacation and his own MUJA imprint. Armed with a studio packed full of drum machines, synths and effects units, he draws on a hardware-rooted approach that lends his music a classic grounding and lived-in aesthetic. His raw, soulful grooves have garnered millions of streams and carried him across the global club circuit – now leading him to Shanti Celeste and Gramrcy’s Peach Discs with ‘title.txt’, a five-track EP whittled down, tweaked, and finessed from nearly 100 demos.
Demuja ‘title.txt’ EP drops via Peach Discs on 22nd May 2026, with ‘Stop Asking Me’ landing on May 6th.
