“Pica” brought together Ultra Music staple Deorro, GRAMMY® and LATIN GRAMMY® award-winning Latin superstar Elvis Crespo, and global bass mainstay, Henry Fong for a synthesis of their combined signature styles. Fusing pop, salsa, and high-octane dance music, the eclectic tune was an easy match for Laidback Luke’s skillful remixing abilities.
Laidback Luke has a history of world-class remixes covering Madonna, Depeche Mode, Robin Thicke, Tiesto and the chart-topping remake of Robin S.’s classic “Show Me Love”.
His innovative production, versatile DJ skills, and his ear to the ground regarding emerging styles and artists have built a long-standing and successful career for the artist and Mixmash label head.
In addition to Laidback Luke’s updated version of “Pica”, the remix pack also includes a fresh offering from Brazilian duo, Cat Dealers.
