Since 2007, Desolat has been at the forefront of rhythm-heavy house music, championing fresh talent and top-tier producers alike under Loco Dice’s leadership. Stepping into the fold for his debut, Düsseldorf native Simes follows in the footsteps of names such as Guti, Yaya, and Francisco Allendes, bringing a three-track offering of quick-fire drum grooves with ‘Bussin’. Already road-tested by Loco Dice around the globe, from Club Space in Miami to ADE, the title track is proving to be an early standout.
On the title track ‘Bussin’, Simes locks in a rolling groove, fusing rapid-fire beats, sizzling hi-hats, and a driving vocal cut that keeps the energy high. ‘TMF’ follows with deep, swinging grooves, layering a thumping low-end with crisp, filtered samples, before ‘En Chinga’ closes the EP with a chunky bassline, skittering percussion, and a raw, club-ready sound.
