DESTRUCTO (aka Gary Richards) has released “Shine On,” a new single featuring vocals from four-time platinum Canadian artist Harm Franklin and DESTRUCTO himself. For the song—inspired by Richards’ late brother Steven “Rocker” Richards founder of No Name Worldwide, visionary manager behind metal legends Slipknot, Mudvayne, and dozens of other great artists who passed away from brain cancer in 2004—is a future classic house anthem reminding us that a brighter day lies ahead.

“Every time I see the Sun it reminds me of my late brother Steven ‘Rocker’ Richards. I always say to myself he is watching over me. I wanted to make a record for the Sunrise Sermon and here it is. ‘Shine On’ is a tribute to Rocker and the almighty Sun.”

The release of “Shine On” on ALL MY FRIENDS Music comes in front of the return of DESTRUCTO’s Sunrise Sermon LIVE on October 30 in Los Angeles at Avalon and October 31 in San Francisco at Audio. Shows start at 6am PT to correspond with the fall sunrise.

The Sermon is a fan favorite of DESTRUCTO’s repertoire. From underground parties in Los Angeles to Shambhala, DESTRUCTO’s DJ sets have provided a spiritual experience for electronic music enthusiasts making dancing through sunrise a one-of-a-kind moment.  During the pandemic DESTRUCTO continued the Sermon virtually from his living room with some sets gathering over 200,000 views via Twitch, Facebook and YouTube.
