The Boston-based producer delivers the winning track from Electric Forest’s Discovery Project competition, hand-selected by guest judge AHEE.
AG debuts on Insomniac’s Discovery Project label on August 8th with his latest single, “Cosmic Surfin.”

“Cosmic Surfin” is a wonky dubstep track encapsulating the carefree energy of existing in the moment. Backed by West Coast rap vocals about staying locked in with the crew, surfer-style guitar plucks and hazy hip-hop beats cruise in with a nonchalant vibe before getting swept by a tide of trunk-rattling, womp-heavy sawtooth sequences.
The track was the winning submission for the Discovery Project DJ / producer competition hosted for Electric Forest, handpicked by Discovery Project alum and guest judge, AHEE. It earned him a performance at the festival, as well as this single on the label.
AG sheds light on the creative process behind the track: “Writing ‘Cosmic Surfin’ was one of those moments where everything just felt right. The energy was high, the vibe was fun, and it flowed out naturally. It’s a track that’s really about being present—locking in with the people you love, letting go of the noise, and just vibing heavy in the moment. No pressure, no destination—just good times, good energy, and riding that cosmic wave together. This one was a joy to make, and I hope it brings that same joy to whoever hears it.”
Based out of Boston, AG is a bubbling bass music artist that has been sharpening his production chops for more than a decade. His tracks excel at finding a flow state between the worlds of hip-hop and dubstep. Looking ahead, he’s being beamed up to provide live support for AHEE on his ‘Wubcraft’ Tour, and was previously roped in to play four dates on Steller’’s ‘Here & Now’ Tour.
With “Cosmic Surfin,” AG rides a fresh wave of momentum as he continues to establish himself as one to watch in the experimental bass space.
