DJ Dextro returns to CLR 16th May 2025 with the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Motivo’ EP. Consisting of three tracks, the influential Lisbon artist drops title track ‘Nada’ first, deep dub atmospheres permeating between tight drum loops in a hazy trip before ‘Gift From The Future’ races through the stars with rapid-fire kick drums and hypnotic synth work. ‘Vacuum Decay’ then closes the release out, tumbling sequences creating an almost jacking feel for full-blown lose-yourself dancefloor energy from an artist supported by the likes of Dave Clarke, Alienata, Marcel Dettmann, GiGi FM, Dubfire, and many more.
Active since the early ‘90s, Portuguese artist DJ Dextro boasts a vast discography on labels like Missile Records, Mutual Rhythm, UNCAGE, Planet Rhythm and Portugal’s very own Naked Lunch Records. He’s also a prolific remixer, having reworked music from artists such as The Advent, Scuba, and Drumcomplex.
Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like DEAS, Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B. Riley, The Southern, and Klint.
