The Dutchman has a penchant for modular synths, freestyle experimentation and spirited playfulness, which is evident on this diverse and irreverent collection.
‘Boompahpah’ gets things rolling with dense beats and a high-octane tempo, a choir-driven breakdown ushers in the main body of this raucous cut. By the midpoint, a squelching bassline switches things up. ‘20inch Chrome’ uses a variety of hip hop-esque samples, sirens and a tribal chant to create a madcap cut. The propeller low end and earworm riff that appears in the breakdown make this a club destroyer.
On the flip ‘Bitte Everyday!’ utilises breakbeats and a mixture of rapping, chanting, and zany effects to enchant and entertain the listener. Finally ‘Like Trampolines’ features hefty beats and more hip hop samples, alongside an incendiary riff that is sure to cause havoc on the dance floor.
