DLMT and Vanrip may be known for their heavier-hitting music but be prepared to be a deep house convert after listening to their new track “The Light.” Here, the focus is on a groovy bassline coupled with whimsical melodies and soulful vocals by Deverano. The song draws influences from deep and garage house sounds and artists such as Nora En Pure, EDX and Croatia Squad, representing a new but welcomed venture for both DLMT and Vanrip. “When we decided to jump on a collab together, we wanted it to have elements of both our sounds but a bit more chill. We usually make harder hitting music so we had to dial it back and focus more on the melody,” the producers said of the track’s inspiration. “The addition of Deverano‘s awesome vocals completed the vibe we set out to capture, and the result is what we think is one of our dopest tracks.”
