GUEST STAGES HOSTED BY HE.SHE.THEY, ARTBAT PRES. UPPERGROUND
[AMSTERDAM] A hidden jewel in the illustrious Dutch festival calendar, Dockyard Festival has – to date – been a closely guarded secret from international eyes. Today that is all set to change as organisers reveal a very special edition of their ADE showcase: the Dockyard Warehouse Festival at Hembrugterrein on October 19th.
The event celebrates 10 years of Dockyard but rather than presenting a retrospective of what came before, promoters Coen van Dongen and Tania Davison wanted to showcase the future of Dockyard, and the techno scene it serves. To that end, Dockyard Warehouse Festival will see some of the most exciting names in techno music take to the stage, with a handful of dance floor icons adding extra clout to proceedings.
Acclaimed British outfit HE.SHE.THEY take over one of the four stages at Dockyard Warehouse Festival, bringing with them an array of talent that includes Cera Khin, Chippy Nonstop, SNTS and Wax Wings. Also on the cards are two tantalizing head to heads: DANZA TRIBALE boss ADRIEL against Vault Sessions resident Grace Dahl, and Briton’s Dax J against underground queen SPFDJ, who Ben UFO hails as “utterly ruthless”. Also hosting their own stage is Ukranian duo ARTBAT, who bring their jaw-dropping showstopper ARTBAT pres. UPPERGROUND to Hembrugterrein, and a line-up to match. Joining them is Danish superstar Kölsch, recent ‘PULL OUT’ collaborators Losless and KAS:ST, and fast rising stars Olympe and Fred Lenix.
On the official Warehouse stage the talent keeps on coming, the Dockyard bookers showing their prowess with a billing that smacks of the freshest names doing the rounds right now: hot from her Boiler Room debut Blackpool’s Effy; fearless Italian DJ Gigola; Aussie upstart Partyboi69; Dutch favourite Moody Mehran; BBC Radio 1 Future Star Emily Nash; and barrier-breaking French act LB aka LABAT. The Laboratory stage move than lives up to its name, turning the decks over to the darker, industrial, more experimental side of Techno. Dutch favourites Colin Benders, Noah Leveye and A/DRFT (Live) represent for the home crowd. Berghain resident Fadi Mohem goes b2b with veteran Brazilian The Lady Machine, while Belgium’s Phara goes up against “Rotterdam’s best kept secret”, Stranger.
As the event breathes new life and fresh energy into ADE’s festival calendar, make sure you’re part of this exciting new chapter in global techno music. Tickets are on sale now via the official Dockyard Warehouse Festival website. Secure your ticket at the link below:

ABOUT DOCKYARD, BY DOCKYARD:
In 2024 the Dockyard festival brand celebrates its 10th anniversary. By introducing a new festival during Amsterdam Dance Event, we want to give more space to the Dockyard brand: Dockyard Warehouse Festival. Dockyard Warehouse Festival is a 15,000 cap daytime festival during ADE, just outside of the city at a former ammunition factory. The new location brings us the opportunity to produce an event that is truly dedicated to techno.
Looking to the current state and future sound(s) of techno, our celebration of 10 years of the Dockyard brand is not meant as a tribute to the past decennium, but rather it’s a celebration of another 10 years of techno that are ahead of us. The future of Dockyard is creating acceptance and safer spaces for all communities, without judgement or prejudice. It’s about being open and not excluding ‘new’ ideas because they do not conform to what we are “used to”. We are excited to see how our most favourite genre will continue to evolve. Here also, we will do this without prejudice and with an open mind. We find it important to also share the origin story of techno: it’s inclusive, safe, and free. Raw, forged from iron and metal, with the Warehouse Festival, Dockyard moves into the next 10 years of techno music and culture.
