Dutch interdisciplinary artist Nedda Sou drops the ‘Inward’ EP

Abstract colorful artwork featuring swirling orange, black, and gray patterns with the text 'NEDDA SOU INWARD EP' prominently displayed.

Nedda Sou brings a no-nonsense approach to uniting people on and off the dancefloor. Growing up in The Hague, she found belonging through street/club culture, house dance, and hip-hop, all of which shaped her musical and creative identity. She fuses dance, spoken word, and electronic music, runs youth theatre projects, mentors globally, and curates her event series THE NARRATIVE. After adding production and DJing to her skills, the Amsterdam-based talent has played the likes of Selectors and Dekmantel and held residencies on Worldwide FM, all while channelling her experiences into inclusive sounds and spaces that celebrate culture and community. Now, Nedda Sou returns with the ‘Inward’ EP, a three-track trip fusing lush deep house, broken beat, acid, and more.

Opener ‘Beyond The Gaze’ is a thrilling collision of live jungle drums, warped synth progressions, and broken beats. The dense collage slowly works you into a frenzy that could well be dropped in the middle of one of Theo Parrish’s famously genre-less sets. ’11-11′ sinks into a hot, steamy, swaggering deep house groove that sways back and forth under wet hits. Hi-hats keep time as chords are drawn out and stretched over drums with a sense of burning late-night soul. ‘Acid Shade’ is a gorgeous closer with pensive keys glowing above another idiosyncratic rhythm made of insistent hi-hats and scruffy, deep-buried kicks, as a frenzied synth lead constantly changes shape and mutates while rising through the mix. It’s a beautiful contrast of human feeling and machine madness.

Nedda Sou ‘Inward’ EP is self-released on 24th April 2026.
