Bristol’s biggest techno export is releasing the official remix package for his rockstar-ready single, recruiting the talents of Linska, Turno, Charlie Sparks, and Tavatli to add a new edge to this year’s EDC Las Vegas 2025 festival anthem.
Closing out a career-defining year, Eli Brown returns with the official remix package for his rockstar-worthy techno anthem “Wavey,” released earlier this year as the official EDC Las Vegas 2025 festival anthem. Out December 16th via Insomniac Records, the four-track collection enlists a global cast of boundary-pushing artists—Linska, Turno, Charlie Sparks, and Tavatli—each reimagining the original’s high-octane chaos through their own sonic lens.
Leading the charge is Linska, the London-born, LA-based producer rapidly emerging as one of techno and tech house’s most commanding new forces. Her remix transforms the original’s peak-time intensity into a darker, more restrained melodic tech statement. The signature vocal hooks take on a haunting new dancehall dimension as she drapes them across thunderous low-end buzz, piercing synth leads, and ghostly vox that ripple in and out of the mix. Every percussive layer feels intentional—driven, shadowed, and cinematic.
Touching on the sonic direction she took with her rework, Linska shares: “The first time I heard the record was in the crowd during the main fireworks, just after I played my first EDC Las Vegas. Remixing it felt like a no-brainer. I wanted to keep the majority of the techno elements and make them work in a tech house arrangement, whilst keeping the energy high like the original. And, of course, the vocals are a big shoutout to my roots. Proud of this one. A fulfilling and full-circle moment for me. Hope you enjoy, and give it a spin.”
Already a festival-favorite with breakout appearances at EDC Las Vegas and HARD Summer, Linska continues her global ascent with headline dates at Sound Los Angeles, Colorado’s Chasing Rabbits, and Sydney’s Above, plus a slot supporting Gorgon City in Poland and an appearance at Drumcode at Drumsheds in London. Her Beatport-topping single “Bad Boy” spent 176 days in the Top 100 and reached No. 1 on both 1001Tracklists’ ‘Most Heard Chart’ and Beatport’s ‘Melodic House & Techno’ rankings—momentum that translates seamlessly into this commanding rework.
Injecting a wholly different voltage into the package, Italian-born, UK-sharpened powerhouse Turno detonates “Wavey” into pure jump-up chaos. His remix wastes no time snapping the original into drum & bass formation—the vocal hook becomes a rallying cry, ricocheting through serrated bass modulations and drum work built for unbroken propulsion. Turno leans into his signature high-energy architecture: snarling midrange, elastic low-end pressure, and break patterns that feel purpose-built for sweat-soaked rooms moving as one.
A stalwart of the contemporary scene with releases spanning Bassrush, Time Is Now, Drum & Bass Arena, Souped Up, and RAM, Turno channels the same kinetic force that’s carried him everywhere from Printworks to Warehouse Project to recent headline runs across Australia and New Zealand. His take on “Wavey” mirrors that touring ethos, the kind of flip that turns a festival anthem into a rave weapon, and arrives at a moment of full-throttle movement for an artist already steering jump-up’s global rise.
UK powerhouse Charlie Sparks boosts the remix pack with unrelenting energy, distilling the original’s rockstar bravado into a menacing, hard bounce weapon. Known for blending acid, industrial, and rave into his signature ‘hazardous identity,’ Sparks twists the central vocal motif into a symbol of perpetual motion—touring, performing, and pushing limits. His remix captures that pulse perfectly: punishing percussion, relentless drive, and a controlled volatility that feels tailor-made for dark warehouse settings.
An established force on the international circuit, Charlie Sparks has delivered multiple Top 5 Beatport chart records, including releases such as “Tatakai” and “Exploited,” while his breakout track “Welcome to London” has amassed over 30 million streams across platforms, cementing his impact on the hard dance scene as we currently see it. His touring footprint includes major festival appearances at Awakenings, Beyond Wonderland, and EDC, alongside performances at globally recognised venues such as Barraca, fabric London and Hï Ibiza. With ongoing international headliner touring across Canada, Australia, and Japan, and a recent Mixmag Spain cover feature, Charlie Sparks continues to strengthen his position as one of the UK’s most influential and commercially effective contemporary techno exports.
Summing up the vibe of his contribution, Charlie Spark writes, “I wanted to create the feeling of a rockstar bouncing around the world.”
Rounding out the package, Tavatli—the LA-based producer behind viral anthems and peak-hour reworks—brings his maximalist energy to “Wavey.” His take channels pure dancefloor euphoria, exploding with razor-pointed synths, rattling drums, and a feral, festival-ready edge. A rising name in the techno-meets-mainstage crossover space, Tavatli’s signature intensity has earned co-signs from Swedish House Mafia, Dom Dolla, Afrojack, and Tiësto, further amplifying his growing reputation as a producer unafraid to blur genre lines.
Relaying his anticipation around the release, Tavatli says, “This track was something I made for the pure intention of the highest energy on the dancefloor. It’s an honor to have an official track with Eli Brown.”
Originally released in May, “Wavey” has quickly become one of Eli Brown’s most celebrated records to date—amassing over 3.5 million streams, major radio support from BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, Kiss FM UK, SiriusXM (BPM), and 538 Dance Department, and press coverage from Mixmag, Beatportal, EDM.com, When We Dip, and CULTR. As the official ‘EDC Las Vegas 2025’ festival anthem, the track solidified Eli Brown’s reign as one of techno’s most electrifying forces—a producer whose fusion of underground grit and festival-scale energy continues to redefine what modern techno can sound like.
With Linska, Turno, Charlie Sparks, and Tavatli now in the fold, the “Wavey” remix package refracts Eli Brown’s original vision through four distinct prisms of club culture from London’s raw techno basements to Los Angeles’s peak-hour dancefloors. Each remix pays homage to the power of the original while pushing it further into the future; a fitting final chapter to one of the year’s most unstoppable techno records.
Eli Brown’s new release ‘Wavey (Remixes)’ is available on all platforms via Insomniac Records.
